Information for Admission to JSPM

Anyone interested in powder and powder metallurgy，can now become a member and receive "Journal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy".

Those who desire to join our Society will please read the following outline, access the application form below and fill in required matters.

The memberships shall consist of Regular Members, Student Members, Corporate Members.

Rights and Duties of Members

Rights
  1. The Journal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy (JJSPM) is an open access journal published on J-STAGE under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) (Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivatives) License (CC License). Accepted papers will first be published as Advance online publication on J-STAGE, and then published with a volume number every month.
  2. From vol.72 No.3, the print journal will be published as one booklet be combined by 2 issues each. The JJSPM will be distributed to the members (excluding
    student members) six times a year     from 2025 free of charge.
     If a student member submits a paper to the JJSPM and the paper is accepted and published, we will provide the published issue free of charge to the student upon request.
  3. Members receive special member prices when submitting papers to the JJSPM, and student members in particular are eligible for additional discounts on publication fees.
  4. The members have the right to apply for an opportunity to lecture on their research work at the academic meetings held by the Society, but they must observe the rules for application.
Duty

　The members must pay their annual dues so that the dues will reach the office in April of each year.
　Those who apply during the year are to pay their dues at the time of application.

* Students are kindly requested to upload their certificate of enrollment to SMOOSY.

Shipment

The Journal of the Japan Society of Powder and Powder Metallurgy will be sent by sea mail.
If you hope the Journal will be sent by air mail, you should pay the additional charge.

Payment

After we receive your application form, we will send the Invoice (pdf) of the admission fee and annual dues to your e-mail.
Please remit to the account of JSPM written in the invoice.
